My favorite ice cream place. I go to both locations in Hamburg and Boston. Very large selection of ice cream, shakes, and sundaes. The Hamburg location also makes a doggie sundae for our fur babies!

First time I got the hot dogs +BOGO today. Single order of curly fries was great but too many for 2 of us. Their ice cream is always great.

Always a nice place to go to cool down your pallet when the weather gets a little warmer then expected. We even go when when it's cooler too.

I love Charlap's!!! My favorite is their caramel sundae. The caramel is so thick and almost chewy. The kids that work there are very friendly.

Great icecream but the hours listed are wrong. Drove all tge way here from lackawanna for them just to be closed.

Had the chocolate coconut almond. Yummy! Hubby had one cheesecake. Said he'd have it again.

Are you kidding!!! Best ice cream --- no doubt about it. The special sundaes are gigantic ---- plan on sharing the delicious combination of flavors.

It's very cute--a real, old-fashioned, ice cream stand! And the ice cream is good, too. My only complaint is that the hot fudge wasn't very good... I'm sure they could do better. Still, a lot of fun, worth the drive.

The best icecream period

I was extremely disappointed with my purchase. My favorite is chocolate. I bought a small cone - it tasted nasty. It had such a weird flavor? Not at all what I remembered from years ago. The scooped ice cream was so soft that it was dripping on a 73 degree day! I ended up returning to the counter to ask for a different flavor - wasn't imp r eased with that choice either. So sad. They used to be my favorite. 😖

Yesterday was great at Nick Charlap's in Hamburg. Appreciation day, everything $1.75. 2 cheeseburgers, 2 milkshakes and curly fries for under $10.00. And the food was great. Thank you Charlap's.

Took grandaughter there. She loved her fancy sundae. I could not have anything because I can't have milk products. Only eat almond or coconut ice cream and they had nothing like that.

Always good icecream

Good variety and nice atmosphere, especially since they made the road a dead end. Feels like a park now. They now have Dole Whip, which is great because my husband can't tolerate ice cream. I think they are still a little less pricey than most other places, but pretty much everywhere you go, prices are ridiculous.

A local favorite since my mother was young. These guys are the real deal when it comes to icecream (dairy queen eat your heart out). These guys make their own icecream they dont simply sell what you can buy in tops or wegman's. They have amazing icecream and unique flavors, cinnamon being one of my favorites. A must try if you have kids or are a fan of how icecream place used to be.
